On December 14th, the SBCAG Board unanimously approved a Clean Air Express fare increase to be implemented gradually until July 2026. The phased approach, which raises fares annually over the next three years, is a direct result of the feedback received from the riders and aims to balance customer feedback with the cost increases to operate the service. The first change will be effective March 1, 2024. Monthly pass prices will go from $150 to $160 per month and ticket books (good for 10 one-way trips) will go from $50 to $54 per booklet. There will be no change to the one-way cash fare of $7.
